Painting and Sculpture

My story draws upon the compassion, wisdom and strength of the feminine character, as well as the symbiotic relationship between humans and nature. Serpent-like creatures emerge from my subconscious with human heads and shifting body parts, floating in an ephemeral cosmic soup of swirling color. I sculpt these figures in clay and produce castings in plaster and bronze.

My vision is to mine the riches of a collective internal wisdom. Allegories of metamorphosis, dream, and memory offer connections that we share as members of the human family and stewards of this fragile planet.
